  Sorry for the late response, which guide are you following at the moment? In general melee hasn't changed all that much in the last while, you are going to want things like windmill, smash, assult slash, mastery skills, etc.
  Endgame, lance combat is king, but training and ap for lance skills is annoyingly difficult and does much better once you have the base behind it.

  If you're referring to my guide, I revised it a little, although it is more gear oriented than skills.
  Melee hasn't really changed much.
  
  If you're referring to Jahrakal's guide, just use mine for more up-to-date equipments.
