no i didn't tell provoke someone to hack me on mabinogi again (if you read general mabi section)
This time is a bit different, yes, I looked this up on Google but it's saying that it's nothing. BUT I'm still concerned. Whenever my skin gets moist/sweaty/damp, I get REALLY itchy, which results in me scratching myself. This tends to only happen on my chest, neck and arms. So I get red patches on my skin, I'm pretty sure the red patches on skin is normal, but why do I get so itchy when my skin gets damp in any way?
Also, whenever I shower and I rub my skin (Still itchy), it starts peeling away. Like, it's a blue-ish gray color, dead skin. But, this happens EVERY time I shower, and sometimes I even shower twice a day. Do I just have a lot of dead skin?

Both happen to me all the time, whenever I take a really hot shower and I scrub myself hard skin falls off in little clumps. And everyone gets itchy when its hot and sweaty out.

Are there any other symptoms? Does the redness and itchiness go away if you aren't wet?

i highly doubt that it is a skin problem. Pretty sure it is just natural thing especially in this hot weather D:
by the way, to be cautious you can check the contents of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to see if you're allergic to any of them.

Well, if you're concerned you should ask your doctor.
Did this just start or has it been going on for awhile?

Yeah, many shampoos and soaps are very acidic and upset your skin's natural pH balance.
You might try Dove Unscented and see if that improves things.

i don't feel like bugging my parents to take me to see a dermatologist if it turns up being nothing. D:
been happening for a few months now, i'll try the dove unscented soap and see if that changes anything. if not, i guess i'll have to go see a dermatologist or something.

I have the same thing. Pretty sure it's nothing, hot water actually dehydrates your skin (odd considering it's water). Perhaps use some soap that also has the lotion hydrate-y stuff. Of course where I live the humidity is very low so I have dry skin all the time.

When you shower, it's best to first use warm water to open up your pores and exfoliate, then change to cold water to close your pores.

The redness is probably from you scratching it btw.

I was going to say the redness might be eczema, but it probably is just from you scratching.

I used to have eczema, its not even worth going to the doctor over. (Maybe to get prescription strength ointment though.)
