Yep, but it takes a few seconds past :00 to reset. But if you want to check if it's available, just cycle to it and see if the icon is lit up (only once you're on the mission though).
I very much agree that at higher levels with trans, the "trash" mobs are far more annoying. The dogs attack fairly quickly and can stunlock you for a while. I find most of the time I use 0 to 6 potions on my way to Succubus and no potions once I'm in the fight. Trying to use potions during the fight (besides maybe a moving potion after a Life Flare activation to allow a chance for a second activation) is suicide, do not try it.
(On a random related note, I once was seeing how much damage I could do to Succubus before needing to trans on Hard. My trans burst killed her. Yaaaay 75 trans points)

Wow crazy, i killed her so easily yesterday but I failed a couple of times in a row today. Maybe the server was lagging real bad yesterday (it was...)
Although the trash mobs are pretty easy for me now (especially when I use scythe)

They do seem to be easier with a scythe.
But the succubus dies quicker with staff.

So far the only time I've failed this mission was due to trash mobs (dogs, the kicking women, etc) on Hard/Macha. XD
But then, I was already 66 when I first went, and I usually transform just to make it really easy.

You know what the funny thing is? I used regular HP pots. Not those Fine ones. Regular.
Well, you're certainly special.

Ohhh, it was nothing xD. 12 hp pots and 30 graces did the trick.
Edit: I don't remember how much, just say i went from 40->10

Died again today at lv58...
Seems like the strategy most people use as a staff evie is to tank her hits and hit her with the big guns. Then use trans. And they have those HP pots that heal like 650 even while running.
Anyways I'll go again later when I have better armor to tank her hits.

What I find works really well is to immediately set up a mana pistol right in the middle of the room, trans, hit her immediately with reverse gravity, then ice spear, then blind arrow.
I think by then I can usually magic arrow her to death. But I've not run that mission for a while, and I'm level 70. :U

Thanks Skye, your strat worked perfectly!!
Here's how it went for me:

Although the run before this, the dangling wood thing somehow managed to 1hko me when I was at full HP and had some shields left >_> That was kinda weird...

Oh, why you're welcome. :D
But that log has done that to me before. The chains holding it also broke just so the log lands perfectly all the way across the hall and I couldn't get through. |D

You can break that log by attacking it. It'll still do damage while it's not swinging, so you just need to not touch it. I'd think it'd be easier with Staff Evie (magic arrow spam). I do it with Rose Thorns as a Fiona if it lands somewhere I can't get around.

I think I tried that before and it didn't work. :/
Oh well. I'll try again if it ever happens again~

The HP is just higher then most other logs. I'll take a screenshot of it if the log is being annoying today.

I used to break the log while it was swinging (often with Ice Spear), but recently I've simply run through, avoiding it altogether.

I must just have no skill whatsoever.
