So........I'm about to choose paladin or dark knight for scythe evie. i think paladin looks cooler/cleaner, but i don't care much.
Which would be better? I mean, evie's defense sucks so a defense boost would help. But aren't evies supposed to dodge a lot...so damage boost would help more?
I'm so conflicted!!!! :gloom3: Can people help, especially with personal experiences?!

Well, I've seen a lot of Staff Evies use Paladin and Scythe Evies use Dark Knight... Which are you? They should have good reasons for using a certain weapon and trans. From reasoning, Staff Evies are focused on things like teamwork, and Scythe Evies are focused on attack.

i for one say both staff and scythe should go dark knight. the only real boost you get from paladin is defence, since paladins are defensive, and its a useless stat for Evie since we have shield, mana amber, flying sparrow, and blink to cover our defensive needs and getting out of the way. however this is just my opinion and viewpoint.

Sorry if it's late but I'd like to point out that it doesn't really matter at all. The boosts are negligible and as for attack if it's anything like melee, you'll just hit the cap with either one. Basically, choose whichever you think looks the best. The game's about skill as a player anyway, and neither effect that.

Who actually puts points into the ATK/DEF skill anyway? They're pretty identical, so go with what you think looks best. Potential adding +200 to each stat you choose would be more beneficial anyways.
