Experience the enlightened way to get NX! Beginning in September, Karma Koin cards will begin replacing Nexon Game Cards on store shelves. These prepaid cards work the same way as Nexon Game Cards, and will be available at retailers in the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Choose from prepaid amounts of $10, $25, and $50.
Simply purchase the card where you would normally buy your Nexon Game Cards, and redeem for NX through the usual methods. For every card redeemed, Karma Koin will donate a percentage of that amount to charity.
Nexon will continue to accept Nexon Game Cards, although retailers will begin phasing them out during the transition period.
FAQ
Q: Why are you changing to the Karma Koin card?
A: Karma Koin cards offer more flexibility for our customers.
Q: Will Nexon Game Cards continue to be available?
A: Retailers will begin phasing out Nexon Game Cards and replacing them with Karma Koin cards beginning in September of 2011. However, the transition will be determined by the individual stores that carry the cards.
Q: When will my store carry Karma Koin?
A: All stores that carry Nexon Game Cards will carry Karma Koin cards. We hope to add even more stores to the list in the future.

Mother of God.
Karma Koin is the dumbest **** i've ever heard of in my life.
Bad enough that i've had to tell people that the item i'm purchasing is called "NX" and it's for an online game, but telling people i'm buying "10k Karma Koins"? No.
Also, watch as they manage to leave CVS or other small stores/chains out.

I wonder if this is an excuse to...
a.) Jack up prices of NX items
or
b.) Jack up prices of NX cards. Or, mother of god, KK's.
That abbreviation just sounds bad.

I wonder what kind of charity it's to anyhow.
Inb4 it's one that gives some of the profits back to NX.

If only it had one more K.
But seriously, this is stupid. Changing the name from NX to KK does absolutely nothing. But hey, at least they're doing something productive like this instead of keeping hackers out of their games!!

I don't even understand this.
It's going to stay NX for me.
KK is too close to something else.

Inb4 they don't give it to charity since they never specified one, or the amount given is going to be really low, like only 10% of the card's amount.

Thye better not, I work at CVS.

I say CVS specifically because it's the only one near me, and sometimes there are certain types of cards that are supposed to be there, but I never find. ;_;

How does it offer more flexability?

Because its called Karma Koins, not Nexon Cash.
Honestly it just makes it sound more confusing as to what its used for.
