Alchemy Mastery Rank 2 to 1: Problem with Mana Crystallization Requirement

  I was thinking about how I can train the requirements for Rank 2 to Rank 1 Alchemy Mastery.
  
  I'm not interested in training the mana crystallization skill at the moment as it requires too much AP for my liking. I don't have access to anyone with the mana crystallization as well.
  
  These are the requirements.

  So after completing all the requirements except for the one involving mana crystallization, I only get 88.1 skill training. The remaining 11.9 has to come from mana crystallization. 1190 successes at Rank 2, 3, or 4 crystals are required to pass this rank.
  
  I don't have access to people with R1 ice spear, so I can only go with Thunder R1 entrusting when the time comes.
  
  Wiki says this about mana crystallization:
  
  

  Crystals created through entrusting are influenced by the Alchemy Mastery and magic spell ranks of the player who cast the spell.
  - Entrusted crystals may be a higher rank than non-entrusted crystals, even if both members have the same rank of advanced magic.
  - Damage-altering upgrades and enchants on the wand of the caster influence the quality of the crystal.
  - The Intelligence of the person creating the crystal affects the quality of the crystal.

  
  
  I'm counting a lot on the bolded parts.
  
  A question about the damage-altering upgrades. Does it mean that extra damage provides a higher chance at better ranks for the crystals?
  
  I was considering this upgrade for Lightning wand.

  What enchants can I consider to place on Lightning wand for good effects on boosting damage for that requirement?
  
  Any extra information about how Mana Crystallization at Rank novice and F works along with entrusting at those ranks (with both people having novice/F Mana Crystallization) is appreciated.

  Your Mana Crystallization rank doesn't seem to be high enough, you can't get r4 crystals when you entrust someone with r1 Ice Spear with +% Damage Crown Wand. I believe you need a certain amount of Mana Crystallization rank to get r4 even though you don't necessary need r4 Mana Crystallization.
  
  If I remember correctly, at rF Mana Crystalization, the ranks of crystals you can make caps around at rA or r9.
  
  I was never successful at consistently getting r3+ crystals in Thunder or Fireball. At least, not as well as Ice Spear which is practically always r1 rank crystals when entrust using the above method. I think the problem is the lack of major +% damage wands for Thunder/Fireball.

I believe that entrusting only raises the rank of the crystal by one or two, and even that is highly random. I've never heard of wand enchants affecting crystal rank though, so that might be worth looking into.

  I have a bigger dilemma regarding this. I have r1 thunder, 250 int, a thunder wand with fox enchant and r3 mana crystal and I still cannot get r4+ crystals. Highest I keep getting is r5 by myself. Another test with another r1 thunder mage and I still keep getting r5s or below. He concluded to me that it might have something to do with the Magic Mastery and/or Alchemy Mastery caps and wait for them to be lifted in g10. I think it would be best if I wait because making almost 300 fireball crystals for this rank is a pain and fulfilling other requirements for r4+ crystals would only require you to make 80 or so.

  I heard from a guildmate that Saturday affects the rank of crystals produced, since it's Alchemy day. I don't personally train Mana Crystallization though, so I can't be certain. :s

  So according to this thread (��ʵ֤�� ������ͨ2-1 ħ������F�㹻|�������۰� - YY���ӻ� - �Է���ˮ��YY), there's someone with Mana Crystallization Rank F, Alchemy Mastery 2, 28% damage increase Ice Wand, Ice Spear 1, 567 Int before transformation and 681 Int after Transformation. After transformation, he gets rank 4 crystals almost all the time and in very rare cases rank 5 and 6.
  
  Oh great...so I have to find someone with high rank Alchemy Mastery and spell level? That's going to be difficult....

  Yep. Forgot that one. I think the 600 int is the ceiling if i remember correct. After that doesnt do anything.

  I'm going to try my luck with r1 MM and r5 AM once they get uncapped. Hopefully I can at least make r4 crystals by myself that way and if not, I'd better get more int v.v.
  
  Haven't got any r1 IS users as friends either and I'd have to wait almost 2 months to fully rank IS (which is utterly almost pointless combat-wise to me since I do not even like the costly adv magic and think Thunder is better.)

  Out of all the above, which ones apply to the person casting the spell and which ones apply to the person entrusting doing the Mana Crystallization??

  Though from a fairly reliable source, says that it's affected by int of caster/dmg upgrades of wand of caster, & alchemy rank and mana crystallization rank of person making the crystal.
  
  I only say fairly reliable because this is by word of mouth, and I don't have anything to back this up.

  Too Bad you on China server...I have a mage with Rank 1 Ice Spear...
