Of my Mabinogi character's current appearance. I made some uh, free adjustments to the Cressida Wear. There WAS a distinct line between the sleeve and coat on the bottom right, before I began blending the image into the background. It just somehow got lost in darkness when I was in blend-happy mode.

Does anyone know a good tutorial for soft, "watercolor" type CG? I've been trying to color my drawings in that style because it's my favorite, but haven't really succeeded for my big drawings. Also, any tips for drawing guy torsos? I find those extremely difficult to draw.

PS. It's a guy.

A short blade coupled with a huge handle... Is it a spear or what? It can't be because the handle isn't long enough; it's barely shorter than the blade...

@Cynic: Thanks for the references! Some of the poses in the third one are pretty helpful.

@Mentosftw: It's actually supposed to be a Muramasa...haha... I was using a CLAMP image as the reference for the pose and the handle of the sword in the CLAMP picture was long as heck, so I ended up making mine long as heck. Should've lengthened the blade too, but I forgot about it while doing the lineart.
