Though the entire suit he wears reminds me of a Kamen Rider of some sort. Maybe Shin Kamen Rider, since it's more beast like

from the top of my head, the new .hack//LINK was exactly like that. If you like this type, i recommend you to check that one too, its kinda older so more chapters are out too

Well it IS a shounen. I happen to enjoy things like this. I really hate having to go out of my way to find something "unique"
