Is this laptop good?

If you can order from Lenovo directly, I'd go with a business-class ThinkPad, personally. Your budget is pretty tight, but the ThinkPad Edge, while not as nice as the T-series I recommended to Adelynn, is still most likely going to be better than most consumer laptops in terms of build quality, durability and reliability. And I was able to configure a decent one for a pretty affordable price of $589.

How high is the budget? If they're willing to spend more money, you could upgrade the CPU to an even faster model, or whatever. I picked the middle E420 (14") base build and customized it to what I posted there.

Wow, thanks a lot guys. My budget will probably be 750$ and less T_T. But ordering directly from Lenovo looks pretty good. How long is that discount going to last for? Also, I probably won't ever play games like Skyrim or The Witcher 2 on my lappy.

Well, that particular 15% off coupon will last until Aug 29. :( But Lenovo has coupons available all the time, although sometimes they are worth less, like 10%.
And it comes with a power cord/adapter, you don't need any of the Accessories, if that's what you were looking at. xd

$750 is a pretty fat budget for that model. If you're gonna upgrade things, I don't suggest you get the RAM upgrade as 4GB is enough. That money is better spent on a faster CPU (i5 minimum) or WiFi adapter.

Got my laptop. Loving it so far, glad they installed google chrome and that the computer wasn't full of trash programs.
