The storm is pretty much over here. No trees fell around my house but almost everyone including me lost power D: How are you guys fairing?

Wasn't as bad as I had anticipated. Just leaves everywhere and power has been intact. My friend had lost half power last night.

Did you guys even get the storm...?
Also, so far we're okay. We have some big branches down, our street is flooded, and there's sticks and leaves everywhere. One of our windows is leaking, and we probably have water in the crawl space.
It was really bad this morning, but we still have another 6-8 hours to go.

My house is a damn river
Literally we are at like the lowest elevation so all the water goes down here
We had to get like a ton of gravel to seal our garage up

I'm assuming that I'll be seeing some effects of the storm in a day or two.

I hope everyone's okay down there. My aunt lives in NH, so her power's out. All Buffalo is getting is cool, windy weather.

Good over here! Some hot wires fell on the streets of Hoboken, NJ, so anyone who lives around there, I hope they fixed that. Wouldn't want any deaths due to electrocution.
But yeah, grats guys! Earthquake and a hurricane in one week!

I'm fine. I expected the power to go out at about maybe 10 AM because when I woke up,there were some pretty severe winds, but nope,we still have power!
Only thing that did happen was a huge branch from my neighbor's tree fell into his backyard. No damage,at least.

I'm fine, don't worry.
But in all due respect, that seems really scary. I mean, winds can just come in like "SUP" and kill you like that. :scare:

In Vietnam, can't really tell what's happening, I hope my 50inch Sony TV with interwebz powered by Google isn't damaged... (Not sure if it's 50 inch, never bothered measuring it.)

We had lots of rain and wind here all of sunday. About 180,000 homes were without power in and around Montreal but mine was fine.
No flooding that I know of.
Right now it's clear and sunny, even though on the storm tracking map it shows the storm right next to us... yesterday when we had all the bad stuff, it was further away than this... I doubt we're in the "eye" of the storm either since it's no longer a hurricane.

Shows approx. where it was yesterday when we had our bad weather, now it's even closer and it's really nice out, not even too windy or anything.
Maybe the rest of it will catch up with us soon D:
