This is Lemia's point of view in my on-going story. It follows Crue's (Chronicles of Redemption) older sister in her journey among the lands of Erinn. So if you enjoy one of the stories I hope you read the other as well since they are both related and true as far as each story is concerned (everything that happened in Lemia's prologue did happen around Crue as well).
Prologue
[SPOILER="Spoiler"]
Lemia was just 11 years old when her mom got the call. Their older brother had just been found dead. Crue was only 7 years old and didn’t understand why his mom and sister were crying. It was bad enough their older brother had been missing so long even Lemia barely remembered him. The condition of the body was barely identifiable. Even the police officer that notified the family asked, “Was there anyone with a major grudge against him? His body looked so beat up it made the medical examiners puke.â€
The funeral was closed casket. Lemia’s blue eyes wouldn’t shed tears over her light brown skin. She normally had her hair tied into a pony tail but today she wore it down naturally. It flowed down to her shoulders. Her older brother’s friends and former classmates kept talking about how good a person he was and how he didn’t deserve to die like that, yet she heard nothing. All she could think of was that she had lost a good brother.
Once the funeral was done and everyone left Lemia stayed behind to visit her brother’s grave. “So what’s it like in heaven? Haha bet it’s great up there. Don’t worry I’ll take care of Crue so you just enjoy your paradise. He might end up a bit spoiled though after being raised by mom and me.†Lemia laughs a bit. “But one thing is for sure,†she bites her lip, “I won’t be joining you up there. I swear I’ll find who did this to you and they will join me in the pits of hell.†Lemia tries her best to put on a smile as she walks towards her mom and Crue. “Too bad it’s a sunny day…cause it makes me feel like I’ll never have a chance to find his killer.â€

Chapter 1
[SPOILER="Spoiler"]
Lemia is standing in front of Nao. “Nice to meet you Milletian. May I hear your name?â€
Nao speaks cheerfully.â€I’m here to guide you to the lands of Erinn. There you will not die of old age since you can rebirth at the age of 20. Since you’re 20 already to enter Erinn you’ll have to rebirth to age 17 is that ok?â€
“Its fine and my name is Lemia Teru.†Lemia responded. She knew how important it was to make first impressions. Nao introducing herself as a guide also meant Lemia felt a need to be courteous in her presence.
“Ok now we need for you to select a destiny. These destinies allow for you to more easily learn skills. The warrior destiny uses melee weapons and skills, the mage destiny would allow you to wield powerful magic with the help of wands, the ranger destiny makes you proficient with the bow and arrow skills, and alchemist would be the use of crystals and cylinders to use the four elements to attack or defend.†Nao says this all with a smile.
“Guess I’ll choose warrior then since I already know a bit about melee weapons.†Lemia responds with a nod confirming her choice in her head.
“Understood you’ll be starting as a 17 year old warrior then. But I must say it seems there have been a few Milletians recently. Did your brother by chance come here? I think I remember seeing a Crue Teru a short while ago who choose alchemist destiny.†Nao looks at Lemia questioningly.
“If he was 16 years old then that was probably him. Did he give you any trouble? Even so that does make me a bit worried knowing he is here as well. I’d best find him quick. Can you send me to where he went?†Lemia’s worry show in her eyes.
“Sorry I cannot do that.†Nao bows her head in apology. “I don’t know where I sent him since he asked me what it felt like to have ‘have such huge knockers’ and I kicked him out in anger. I AM SO SORRY.†Nao bows again.
Lemia has a bit of anger showing on her face but not aiming it at Nao. “That jerk is just as spoiled as ever. I swear I didn’t raise him right. Ok I’m not worrying about him for now. Whatever happens to him is his OWN fault.â€
“Then I will transport you to Iria right away.†Nao makes a hand motion and everything turns white for Lemia. She finds herself right outside of a wooden fence.
“Well Crue ending up here too was not in the plan but at least I’m finally here. The place of elder brother’s death…Erinn. Time to find out who killed him.†Lemia pulls out a gladius she brought from her world and walks into the camp.

Chapter 2
[SPOILER="Spoiler"]
Lemia had this dream quite often. She is playing her flute for her elder brother and he would smile. “You really live up to your name don’t you. Mother sure knew what she was thinking to give you a name like ‘song of paradise’ even if it was just some stupid poem written by dad,†he laughs and puts his hand on her head. “Enough of that Lemia it’s time for you to sleep after all you’re only 7 years old.â€
“But I wanna be with you brother,†she looked at her brother with a fear she would never see him again. She knew it was just selfishness but couldn’t help it. Her father had just passed away from illness. Even if brother was not sick, she still felt worried for him. “Maybe…†she grinned at him sheepishly, “maybe you can just sleep with me tonight?â€
Her brother sighed, “What will I ever do with this selfish little angel.†He smiled and went to get changed but spoke to Lemia from the other room. “Do you remember what all our names are supposed to mean?â€
Lemia thought back to her father’s works then stated, “My own was ‘song of paradise’ came from a story about a girl singing. Even though this girl had seen the death of her whole village she still believed in the local god and sang of his promise to the people.†Her face twisted a bit as she was trying to remember what happened next. “Then came Crue’s namesake a doctor who brought the medicine that was supposed to cure the village. I still think it was a shame he arrived too late,†Lemia complained because she always thought it was annoying the story they were named after was such a sad tale. “Brother I can’t remember what happened next,†she looked at her older brother waiting for the answer.
He laughed at this since he knew she never cared for the story. “Crue then left the village to seek redemption for his failure as a doctor. He became famous as a man who could cure any disease, but he always regretted that one time he was too late. Lemia had chosen to stay in the village by herself believing in the promise of the god. Upon her death an angel named Loa appeared and brought her soul to paradise. There she found the villagers waiting for her. That’s why my name is Loa, the ‘one who brings salvation’.†Loa came back into the room and tucked himself in the bed with his little sister. “Tomorrow you’re sleeping on your own,†he then gave her a kiss on the forehead.
“Loa what is Crue’s name supposed to mean then?†Lemia looked Loa in the eyes as they were both lying down in bed.
“Crue’s name means ‘the one who seeks redemption for all sins’,†Lemia and Loa went to sleep soon after.
Lemia awoke in Qilla and picked herself off the bed. After tying her hair into a ponytail she walked out of the tent and greeted the kind soul who had lent her the bed, “Thank you very much Alexina it is so good to know there are such kind people in Erinn†She bowed to Alexina to further show her gratitude.
Alexina looked a bit bothered by Lemia’s politeness, “its fine Lemia. We couldn’t give you the information you wanted so bad when you charged into camp yesterday anyways. Many of us thought you were about to kill everyone here,†Alexina chuckled at the memory of Nicca pulling out a claymore at his first sight of Lemia. “You really did give us a scare then, but it was nice of Nicca to teach you the basics of fighting here in Erinn. We don’t get too many Milletians and even more so here in Qilla.â€
Lemia blushed at the thought of the commotion her arrival made in the camp. It was especially bad that she let herself think the killer would even be found so easy. “Well at least I managed to get someone who could take me to the territory of the elves. Thanks for the hospitality but I must be going now,†saying this she turned to walk out the camp and meet her guide.

Sanctuary 1
[SPOILER="Spoiler"]
He knew she would come here even before her brother’s corpse was found. Lemia walked in just as he expected. He laughed as she coughed a bit in the smoke filled shop. Not surprising considering how much incense he was burning. His green eyes fixed on Lemia as she approached the counter. “So what do you need miss?†He asked this as a formality since he already knew. Lemia had taken 9 years to reach this point.
“I heard you can find information that most can never find,†she replied while examining his young looking face and the odd short white hair with a short/well kept beard. “I heard from some people that this store can find anything you need. It is a weird to name it ‘Musing of the Creator.’†She held back another cough and said, “I’m looking for how to find the person who killed my brother Loa.â€
The store keeper smiled and replied, “Ah I remember Loa. He was such a bright young man. I have a few of his belongings too.†He went into the back room and returned a few minutes later. “His gladius and a pocket knife, I managed to get these a long time ago before the police found his body. It is a shame really, he was such a good boy.â€
Lemia looked at the items on the table and saw one item that the old man had not mentioned. “What is this book?†Her eyes looked at the store keeper questioning.
“It’s a book he bought from me a long time ago. The book details how one can reach Erinn the land of paradise,†the store keeper chuckled at the memory. “He told me his father had just passed away and he wanted a way to see the paradise his father had dreamed. It seems the paradise was not so kind to the boy.†He looks at Lemia’s eyes and knows she is hooked. He speaks in a whisper, “If someone killed him it must have been in Erinn. I will return these items to you since you should be the one to inherit them.â€
Lemia put the knife and book in her purse then picked up the gladius. “When I have found his killer, I will return and thank you for your help,†she finished the conversation and walked out of the shop.
“So do you think she will find his killer?†The shop keeper turned around to see Morrighan standing there. “He was your favorite after all. I’m sure you want revenge as well.â€
“He made his own choices,†she replied. “I still don’t like how you send these Milletians to Erinn with promises of paradise, power, and dreams made real.â€
The shop keeper grinned, “Humans are such simple things. All I have to do is give them a few words and the world becomes interesting.†He vanishes in a puff of smoke and is gone.
Morrighan walks into the back room and picks up the weapon lying there. “You may have been the one to start all this Aton Cimeni, but you will not be the one to finish it.†Morrighan vanishes in a flash of light and gets ready for when she must deliver the last weapon Loa wielded to its rightful owner. The Brionac would have it no other way.

Chapter 3
[SPOILER="Spoiler"]
Lemia found her guide waiting just outside of the camp. He was an elf that looked to be about 17 years old, well not like you can always tell the true age of someone here, she thought. His green eyes fixed on Lemia quickly and he ran right to her. “Thank you Olios for the offer of taking me to the elf village. I’ve heard relationships have been strained between humans, elves, and giants lately so I’m sure this isn’t easy on you,†She’d heard from Alexina and the others that there had been a major stir around an unnamed Milletian awhile back that had managed to sever friendly ties between the races.
Olios took off his brown mongo’s hat and bowed to Lemia showing the blue hair underneath. “On the contrary, it would be great if we could all leave behind the hate and get along,†He flashed a smile at Lemia.
She wasn’t quite comfortable with Olios since he seemed like he might have other motives though if he was anything like most of the men in her life it’d just be perverted in nature. Well if he tries anything I’ll just beat him up and leave. “So how are we traveling to…Filia right?â€
“Yes that is its name,†he mused. “I’m sure the other elves will be pleased to meet you and it won’t even be a day to get there. But first may I ask if you know magic?†he tilted his head questioning.
“Not at all actually. Heulfryn was selling magic books but turns out my money is of no use here in Erinn,†this also happened to be her biggest problem with her traveling. She had absolutely no money or idea where she had to go on her journey. It was hard for her to sleep the night before when she considered these things. Luckily while the camp had dinner over a campfire and she had to explain her situation Olios had mentioned that maybe the elves might know more about her brother. He even offered to bring her to the elf village.
Olios cringed. “Hate to say it but this might get a bit painful for you then. We’re gonna take the mana tunnel to Filia. The problem is if you don’t use up all the mana in your body before entering then the tunnel tries to fill you with more mana…well to sum it up you feel really hot and like you’re gonna explode.â€
It was Lemia’s turn to cringe. “Is there any way to prevent that? I’m willing to go anyways but I’d rather not suffer if I can help it.†She meant this since she had come prepared to potentially die anyways. She sighed, “Don’t worry about it Olios I’ll just grit my teeth or something. Let’s go.â€
Olios gave Lemia a weird look then grabbed her hand. “This way then brave one,†he laughed knowing she’d regret this. He started up a mana shield around himself and dragged her into the mana tunnel nearby with him. Instantly they saw nothing behind them other than a glowing light and ahead of them was a white road of light that lead to another pool of light. Olios dragged Lemia across the road of light as she began to feel the pain he’d described. Fortunately for her the trip was a mere few minutes and they soon crossed the light pool and found themselves in the desert.
Lemia fell to her knees trying to recover from what she just felt. “I warned you,†Olios looked at her trying to catch her breath again. “Well best to find magic that uses all your mana or have one that keeps using it as you go through.†He tilted his head then spoke again, “the mana tunnel can take you to any other tunnel entrance you have been to so long as you have been there once before. If you wish to return to Qilla at some point just come here and imagine Qilla in your mind then step onto the platform.
“That won’t happen till I solve this mana problem,†Lemia wheezed the words out of her mouth. After she finally recovered from the tunnel Olios and Lemia turned and made their way to Filia. Now to get some answers…hopefully.
