  Am I the only one that likes the fact that the matainance is in the morning when everyone is still sleeping? :skip:

  Most kids have school in the morning pretty soon. They'll want to earn more buisness when most of their customers are available. If they held the matainance during the night, they'd lose more hours of buisness.
  
  It may night be flexable for adults, but for kids still in school this doesn't effect them because when they get home they'll be able to play without waiting.
  
  At least, that's how I see it as.

  This logic is flawed since the night maintenance were always held at like 10 PM or 1 AM. Morning at 9 AM 12 PM isn't much better.

  Well, people who aren't on the West Coast (and Aussies) are asleep by then, and people on the West Coast will be going to bed during the maintenance time.
  
  It certainly works out much better for everybody as a whole to do it from 10-1.
