  There's a subtle difference in after-delay and the animation-delay for Franc and EACH SWORDS.
  
  If the game was all about numbers I would cover myself with Oblivion instead of correct combination of enchants. Why Ego Wing Bow instead of Ego Ring Bow when its max damage fails compared to Ego Ring Bow? Exactly. It's all about the style and subtle differences each weapon brings to the table instead of just "OMG 200 MAX DAMAGE 1H!!! EVERYTHING ELSE FAILS"

  -.- are you insinuating that I'm one of these dreaded elitists? I don't melee so I don't understand it, sorry for being ignorant. I don't expect everyone to understand why I use a wing bow instead of a ring bow. If they ask, I explain it.

  I am insinuating whatever you wish me to insinuate. If you felt like I was implying you were one of them, then so be it.
  
  If you don't melee then your opinion of "a human using a Franc when 1h swords are so much better" doesn't matter at all, does it?
  I also have a Ego Wing Bow. That was an example to illustrate why one weapon isn't exactly superior to another.
  
  I could compare an Ego Composite Bow and an Ego Wing Bow and make it sound like a Composite Bow is a better Ego Weapon, but in reality not one weapon beats another 100%.

  That's somewhat of a relief.
  
  It looks like the Arbalest has slightly higher critical than the Crossbow and slightly less maximum damage. Still questioning whether or not certain weapons (namely the Crossbow, Wing Bow and Ring Bow) have been "balanced".

  If I state something is better than another it's always opinion and I would be foolish to assume people don't have opinions of their own, some that conflict with mine. It's called creative criticism and it helps me make the right choices on weapons and gear I use.
  
  If popular belief is that something upcoming is strong and wonderful, but to me it's not, I'm not switching. If I think something upcoming is strong and wonderful, but nobody else does, I don't expect them to switch. It's a forum, we share opinion.

  Man you have your rage on today... I wasn't trying to harp on anything, I was posing questions. Input is welcome, it's a discussion. I'm not saying anythings better, I'm asking for opinion on why people think it is or isn't better. You could make the argument that a wooden stick is better than a ring bow if you wanted.
  
  I melee some, but I don't have an ego for it. I do however have many friends who do so I keep an eye out. I never bash other peoples opinions by saying they don't mean *** why say mine don't? :/ Troll somewhere else

  It matters to me.
  
  If the Crossbow was nerfed, i'll consider switching to the arbalest. If the Crossbow wasn't nerfed, that decision is dependent on the final stats of both weapons. My level 37 crossbow has greater maximum and less critical than that level 41+ arbalest.
  
  If I switched to the Arbalest without considering the stats of my Crossbow, I could end up switching to a worse weapon.

  I think you misunderstood my post. Let me clarify:
  
  It does not matter if your weapon becomes nerfed or not because if it becomes nerfed you will simply change to Arbalest(or a new weapon), and keep the X-Bow if it wasn't.
  
  I think the point of this thread is to share new Ego Stats, not to compare it to old Egos and indirectly bash on older weapons.

  NX is a small price to pay I suppose, in the grand scheme of things. I wonder how much though... and yeah I was surprised to see decent stats lol Viseo Blade would surprise me if it was good :o

  Okay, you ask why I wouldn't choose the fran. (I NEVER said it was terrible, you are OVERSTATING what I'm saying.) I, personally, wouldn't choose a fran because it's not versatile (like I said earlier), I would rather have a sword because I could use it with a shield for duels or dual wield for PVE. In addition to this, I've seen egoes with higher max/min. However the axe mastery isn't bad, so I wouldn't be surprised if more specialized folks liked it.
