But if you think about it, statistically, if human is your main, then do Blacksmithing and the puny tedious~grindish life skills on that. The more dexterity, the nicer the success rates for everything are to you. You'd need a decent amount of dexterity to get maximum success rates, and Blacksmithing is a lot of money to sink into as well, if you're buying much materials.
May as well do that on your main. Saves the work of an extra elf, imo.
The thing about my main being combat oriented is that he's already pumping DEX through Refining and Weaving. I don't want to spend the first 4 months of my gametime just being a lifeskiller; that's outright boring, not to mention nobody buys BS'd or Tailored goods anymore. If they want something stylish, they Gacha for it or run SMs.
I have yet to meet a player who'll pay for a smithed or tailored item. Not to mention, when I'm actually DONE ranking life skills, I'll be well into Advanced Difficulty, which means G9~14 will be harder for me because of it.
Hence why I dedicate an Elf to the task - not only does he have the extra natural DEX that makes getting Refine and Weaving out of the way easier, but it also helps with Blacksmithing and Tailoring rates - since the more DEX you have, the better chances you have of getting to 99.9% (the mini games determine finished quality).
EDIT - Should probably mention I'd be gathering my own mats, not buying. Therefore making my Elf a crafter main is more probable, since Ranged adds DEX, and he'll be using it to clear Barri's first and (maybe second) floors.
