  imo pets will be meaningless if restored (unless you bought your own) because the sender's name and message would no longer be there

  Then just ask for your pets not to be, if you don't want them.
  
  Some people actually like their pets whether they have the message or not.

  I'm gonna be honest. When you have so many of those badges, or pets, or whatever-you-call-them under your name, it stretches your posts out a lot.. Look at the post immediately before mine, it's twice as tall as the content because of the badges. It's even worse for me because I'm on a very tight bandwidth "budget", and even with signatures and images disabled in my board settings, they still show up.
  
  It's that kind of thing that I think should be tucked away in people's profiles, no offense...
  
  Speaking of which, is it at all possible to have posts show the "Mabinogi Character" and "Mabinogi Server" profile fields on the left in the Mabinogi section? And name/server/level stats for the Vindictus section, possibly?

  Also you only load each image once and it's loaded from cache. All the pets on the server combined equal less than 1MB.

  There is weird network manipulation going on between me and the Internet due to my mobile provider. It doesn't cache. It's not as much of a bandwidth use as the users with huge (5MB+) gifs in their signatures, but signatures can be disabled.
  
  But anyway, I'm not saying you should change the site just for one person's unrelated issues. I can respect that this community lets users have a lot more 'flair' than most other forums. Since I can turn off the biggest bandwidth hits (sigs and avatars) it doesn't bother me.
  
  What do you think about my suggestion, though? I think it would add a sense of closeness between the games and this forum. People would enjoy the convenience of being able to identify a person's in-game handle (if provided) in their post.
  
  (And I guess signatures already allow for that so it's redundant also..)

  It says in the first post that Osay took the icons/pets out. That's why :P
