Right now, I'm using a linux livecd btw.
I'm trying to access a usb drive but it's just not working.
I've checked the documentation for this version of linux and it's still not any help.
I'm using Slitaz 2.0 atm
If anyone can offer any advice, anything will be appreciated.

Never heard of Slitaz. I'd just use Fedora, or Knoppix. But anyway...
Have you tried
restoring the MBR?

I should have said I was using Windows XP.
The only reason I have the live cd in the first place was because I used ophcrack to get at one of my account's lost passwords.
Sorry for the double post but...
Ok I found out I can make my own windows cd, only thing is, my cd drive is occupied right now by the live cd so I have to make a liveusb.
However, in order to do that, I need to access a usb device, only thing is, I have no idea how to access it .-.
Can anyone help?

Dunno if ver 2 works like ver 3, but you should be able to mount a USB flash drive as described here, for example:
http://forum.slitaz.org/topic/mount-usb-flash-drive
You should also be able to mount it manually via command line. Feel free to look it up. x)
And I'm guessing that you figured you can fix the MBR in a similar fashion with an XP CD?

Lol, I randomly went on the IRC that was pre installed on this live cd and some guy helped me mount the usb.
Oh and yeah I continued to look up the mbr thing.
