This post is for people that have there DEX up and do not have to worry about balance anymore, if you don't have at least 170 dex, please don't take my recommandation, because you will find it extremely hard to handle these weapons.
recently mabinogi TW have added couple new weapon (for NA players: don't worry, they will be up soon, just keep reading so you know which one are you getting as soon as they come out, or they already did, I DONT KNOW, never played NA)
these legendary weapons includes:
dustin sliver knight sword
battle sword
war sword
battle short sword
Executioner's sword
BEHOLDER's SWORD(â†ATTENTION)
first, the stats of these weapons(fully upgraded MY way):
dustin sliver knight sword (two handed, very slow)
34~100 damage 17 criti 25 balance
best with lich enchant (melee mastery r1 + 25 str, Final hit r5 +30 str, -30 dex)
Battle sword(one handed 2 hit, slow)
10-62 damage 40 criti 3 balance
war sword(one handed 2 hit, slow)
0-90 damage 15 criti 27 balance
battle short sword(one handed 3 hit, fast)
21-31 damage 34 criti 32 balance
Executioner's sword(two handed 2 hit, very slow)
49-97 damage 12 criti 10 balance
THE SWORD OF THE BEHOLDER (one handed 2 hit, very fast)
0-90 damage 1~3% criti 34 balance
next, we talk about these weapons one by one.
The dustin sliver knight sword is about the best two handed sword I can ever find, if you get it from the shadow world missions(coming soon on NA) it comes with a "the Rich" enchant which gives you 55 more str if you have melee r1 and final hit r5. It cost you 30 dex which means more dex is required to unleash the full protential of the sword, it has the highest damage number in mabinogi, in my case, I can easily reach 25X damage with it. And also, this sword is ideal for smashing since the last balance update added 10% to two handed sword smash damage, it doesn't do as well in windmilling though.
damage record(smashing): 1100~1500 (with criti): 2800~3400*
(windmilling): 400~800 (with criti): 1100~1500
Battle sword and Battle short sword are best friend, one give you damage and criti, the other give you speed, they are cheap but decent weapons of choice, the speed given by the battle short sword means it works great on Final hit, and the damage of the battle sword give you smashing damage almost close to that of dual broadsword.
damage record(smashing): 680~1050 (with criti): 1500~2900*
(windmilling): 400~800 (with criti): 900~1200
War sword... damage look nice hur? Well its extremely hard to get and you can only get it by Synthesizing. Even in TW this weapon is extremely rare and since i've never used it, I can't tell you how good it is, but one thing i do know: if you got this, you're rich.
Executioner's sword, same deal, only by synthesizing, extremely expensive, one thing worth menitioning is the sword have a pair of wings on the helt(for u'all prism fans), looks great, but not much of a use as weapon.
Now Behold: The sword of the beholder, my current favorite weapon, it have 90 damage with gems upgrade, 1% criti? don't really have to worry about it, you won't need criti if you have them, it is the only fast 2 hit weapon i know which means it works INSANELY good on final hit because of the speed and INSANELY good on smashing because of the damage and INSANELY good on windmill that I don't even know how to explain.(for smashing damage of the weapon refer the post "high damage" on the picture forum)
damage record(smashing): 1100~1800 (with criti): 3200~5200*
(windmilling): 600~1100 (with criti): 1800~2500
*damage number is just for comparing since i did it with my own character (combats skills r1)
*all damage record of one handed sword is that of dual-wielding.
