I'm tired of everything in the Mabinogi section turning into a flame war, and besides the Multimedia section, that's the only place where I find any merit in posting whatsoever.
So, since I'm no longer interested in getting into senseless word fights (even if I start them), I'm leaving these forums.
It's sad; here was the one place I felt I could intelligently discuss Mabinogi's gameplay, and every argument seems to become a flame war at some point down the road (doesn't help that I cause a lot of it).
So to save the community some grief, I'm packing my bags, and hopefully there's a better Mabinogi forum out there; I may come back if people decide to start acting a little more mature and try talking without sparking flame wars.
But right now, I'm just tired of fighting. Tired of people who appear to have given up hope on Mabinogi, and tired of people who can't really say anything with a straight face.
So, it's been real, but this is goodbye.

Flame wars will happen no matter where you go. It's the people, not the community. People of that kind exist everywhere.
I doubt there is a better Forum out there (unless I just didn't look hard enough), but I wish you the best of luck nonetheless.

Only good one I know of that still works is
mabinogiworld, so try that one.
(actually it's not even working for me right now but I'm sure it's temporary)
Guru and Player are both dead, or as good as dead, and nexon forums is... 100x worse than here (and that's being kind, to them).

The reason I had to react so violently to most stuff that was aimed at me (which in itself was inflammatory) was that when I posted ideas, people shot them down, but offered no alternative solutions or better ideas. Constructive criticism works best when you can provide a better idea to replace the one that was originally out there - the problem further bloomed into people just wanting me to give up hope on Mabinogi.
I can be nice when ideas are being exchanged, but when I'm shot down and I don't get any ideas on how to improve my original idea, then suddenly I need to defend my creativity - which I'm pretty proud of.
In fact, there's one post which I thoroughly enjoyed - until people started putting me down, not offering any extra ideas beyond "just give it up; Mabinogi is a terribad game", offer no real reasons why, and then just proceed to insult not only my intelligence, but my creativity and love for Mabinogi.
That's what I found sickening.

at least join us in the other sections of the forums, they tend to be less combustible than mabi threads.

I won't bother to repeat myself; the only sections I have any merit in posting in are Multimedia Fantasy and the General Mabinogi forums (and the latter more than the former). Beyond that, I don't usually post unless it's something to contribute to the conversation - and as always, people react so violently to anything I've to say.

It's just the people, then just use the new ignore feature if you really don't like certain people criticizing you. Even if it's not the same people at all times. Everyone is different, and they do have different opinions, except if people don't respect your opinions, then there's no need to point it out, maybe it's easier to just move on from that, and ignore that post made by whoever it was.
Mabinogi threads aren't combustible or whatever, it's just the people affecting it sometimes. Some people may not be saying some good things about another's opinions, and you're welcome to ignore those kind of responses to your ideas. Everyone's ideas are unique to one another, so it's also nice to see people actively creating ideas and all, whether it's been done so before, just completely new.
People don't like change? Well they are welcome to ignore the new idea as well, and not just put the person who introduces it to everybody down.
If someone's starting to flame or so, there's always the report function. When you feed the fire, it gradually gets worse as the two opinions differ, so ignore them, or report them.
Sure, when something you feel strong and defensive against makes it hard to control telling them back what your opinion is, but if people don't respect that opinion, it's better off not to notify them that you notice it. Sometimes, it's what people are looking for, and that may end up getting you to nowhere but feeling bad about the creativity that you feel so strongly of.
Don't leave because of something like this, but still hang around elsewhere. You're always welcome to express your creativity and ideas anywhere. It's not like you're restricted to holding it back because of the people, if you're really that proud of it.

Strawberry pretty much got it down.
Unless you're completely sick of everyone over here, I suggest you give it another shot and try not to take things so personally. I know flame wars can be exhausting and ridiculous sometimes, but there's always that Report button below every post, which can alert us to any trouble currently present.
If people react violently, look to see if there's something you could perhaps fix about yourself, so that way you can avoid these problems and this stress. I've found that being civil and respectful helps the message get through better. I haven't seen much of your posts here, so I can't say that this is not what you've been doing all along, but who knows. Sometimes patience is key.
Hope you reconsider.
