  When I read the series, I think Xxxholic because of the paranormal activities and how the main female lead has a personality similar Yuuko-san from Xxxholic itself, and I think somewhat of Ga-Rei because of how the relationships add up with each other. A beautiful female ghost follows a normal high school boy around. Nothing will go wrong, right?

  Episode 1 diverts from the manga material with the whole gang already gathered for the club meeting (Around chapter 6).
  
  It's quite funny with the same scenes played - one without Yuuko and with.
  
  If you haven't read the manga you will miss the meaning of some of the scenes -When Teiichi was sitting on the couch in the clubroom, there was a sign that read, "If you open the door, you will be cursed". (This has significance to where Yuuko is located.)
  
  In the anime, Yuuko also seems to have more physical contact with environment.
  
  It's hard to tell if the anime will continue to divert from the manga or follow it.
  
  Next episode seems to explains how Teiichi met Yuuko.
