So im taking a class on visual basic, so far it seems, a lot like my web design classes in highschool which went over microsoft expressions and adobe flash and how to use those 2, except not to much indepth about actionscript and only a little html.
It seems this class is similar, except were going more indepth with the coding and how to get that to work.
Anyway, im having a slight problem, apparently because my major is in computer science or something, the school is giving me a lot of free software, im going to wait to download it because im using my moms laptop for most of my schoolwork until i can get my own off of my school funding, but theres a large choice of visual studio 2010.
Should i get the premium, express, professional, or ultimate? The ultimate seems the best, and express seems to be free anyway, but the descriptions arent that helpful so im not sure.
Also included are a lot of debugging tools and such, which ill probably download after i get more familiar with the program.
Also, would a laptop be able to run visual basic well? or should i wait until i get the parts for my desktop.
