out of memory crash

Apparently this is a pretty wide-spread crash...

But can anyone actually keep the client open for days and not suffer from this crash? More importantly has anyone managed to fix this problem?

i didn't notice it before the glas patch. i've only been able to avoid this because i've had to restart per increasingly sluggish performance.
i'm thinking they added a memory leak in that patch.

Yea, this usually happens on succubus without fail which I do believe came out in the same patch as glas.

I get that "ridiculously slow" thing happening in win7 after a period of time too, usually succubus. I don't get it on vista, but I do eventually get that out of memory thing, but it's so random it's ridiculous I hardly know when it'll happen which is the part that irks me. The good thing is it has yet to happen when I'm in the middle of a mission yet...

So far I got that crash once while trying to join a boat, once when I'm on a boat, and once while I'm just in Rocheste walking around...

Likely the memory leak then.
If you're on 64bit OS, and vindictus is a 64bit app, moar RAM. Or a more realistic solution, let them fix it. You shouldn't have to do anything to fix a programming issue on their end.

Well I just got 8GB more ram for $50, so I'll have 12GB ram total or 8GB ram if I just use the 2 sticks that I got. Let's see if 8GB or 12GB DDR3 is enough for Vindictus. I'm gonna lol if I still get the out of memory error with 12GB DDR3 memory.
