http://www.foxcrawl.com/2011/09/13/shocking-video-utah-motorcyclist-saved-by-courageous-bystanders/
When caught underneath a flaming vehicle after a crash, bystanders came from all corners to join forces and lift the car and pull him to safety.
(Warning: Mute the video. The people talking are annoying.)

Those of you who think the world is not full of good people are simply not looking hard enough.

It just looks like there's a lot more of them because of social media and the internet's instant communication.
When you live in a big busy city, you don't really see the good side of people. Everyone looks out for themselves. Most people are "good" though, it's just that they're good to people they know, not to everyone. When you're in a crowd of people on your way to work, there's no good people.

Canada must suck. There are plenty of good people when I'm on my way to school.
Edit: Besides, I would make the same argument to disagree with you. The media does a MUCH more thorough coverage of tales of evil and horrendous deeds than it covers stories of heroism. I'd say the exposure is actually the reverse of the way you make it seem.

I actually would have thought twice about doing that, seeing as how the front of the car was on fire.
But then again, that just proves these people have the guts.

That's great, I love to see people put themselves in danger to save others. And as for the media, the sad truth is, "If it bleeds, it leads." Not sure why people like to hear the bad news but that's just how it is.

Ohh I saw this on TV this morning in electronics. Apparently he's in stable condition too. Teamwork really works wonders

Well do you know that scene from the matrix when morpheus takes neo into some simulator and shows him the girl with the red dress?

Walking around here in rush hour is just like that.
The individuals are good people, but like I said they're good to those close to them.
The media can show all the stories of bad or good it wants, but it doesn't represent what I see from personal experience.
I don't see or hear of anyone being murdered or shot every night in my city, but I also don't see people helping each other out all over the place. What I see is a swarm of jerks who want to get from one location to another and not give a **** about anything in between.

Maybe I'm the weirdo then. Cause I go out of my way to be nice to people and start conversations with others. And sometimes I share food, but I don't do that often cause people look at me like I'm trying to poison them.

It's good to see heroic citizens doing this to help their fellow man. Gives me hope in this world. :)
Well to be honest, I guess I'm one of those jerks as all I'm concerned about when I go out is to get my errands, get done, and get back to my computer. Then again I'm an egostical person deep down inside so that's no surprise :tea:

I saw this a few days ago as a .gif, except it was reversed so I thought they were shoving the guy under a burning car :pain:
I am very glad they helped him, they have some real life karma coming for them big time.

It's nice that there are people like this.
