Some people do not want to risk the status quo that they are already used to and satisfied with. In that case, they are kind of stuck in time. xd
I can see it from a man's perspective. They want the power to control their women and by keeping them at homes and preventing them from working, they can feel both superiority and control. On top of that, it makes the woman dependent on them, so they're connected by a safety net in case he feels she's slipping from her. If she didn't have a job or education, she couldn't possibly declare independancy and walk out on him. This way, he can do whatever he wants, stay dominant, and the woman can't object.
In MY perspective, a working woman just means less strain on the family as a whole financially. Both of us can share the workload and as a result both of us take a big breather. After saving up a little bit, we conceive, one of us can have our hours cut or take a home job to take care of the child.
Okay. So I can understand that.
But what the hell are the women doing over there? Women unempowerment... why?
There is a natural human desire to dominate... and be dominated. So maybe these are just women who enjoy being dominated?
I think they're just lazy. Housekeeping is just one way out of having a job, working specific hours, dealing with people, etc. Either that, or they've just been brainwashed since birth and its just their way of life, and can't understand any alternatives outside of that.
Still don't really understand that train of thought though, especially in today's times.
Are these people so enclosed in their own little world to see that this kind of protest will not only produce zero results, but make them laughing stocks of the whole world? The idea of backwards progress in human rights and equality is so absurd! No one will ever take that.
