Well, a lot of buttons are useful in an MMO environment like Aion or Age of Conan where you have a metric ****ton of alt+key, ctrl+key, alt+ctrl+key, alt+shift+key, ctrl+shift+key, shift+key, alt+ctrl+shift+key modifiers and crap, and sometimes need to do them in rapid succession, and while moving... and still being able to (back when I had a headset instead of headphones) talk on vent with a push to talk button on my mouse. Yeah. Doing all of that can be ****ing hard...
I've found mouse buttons useful for 3d modeling too, since instead of having to hold down some key to move something, etc., I can just hit a button on my mouse.
Buttons are also useful for macros, if they can be made into full macros... the mouse I have atm sucks in that it can't do full on macros like my keyboard, and my G-keys on my keyboard are in a practically unusable placement during some sort of moment where I would really need them. To make it work I have to make an autohotkey macro and bind it to some random key and bind that key to my mouse... sort of a wonky way of having to do it, but things just aren't reachable and usable when needed otherwise.
Meanwhile, in Apple

I don't know why people would buy from apple. Way I see it, only their ipods are okay. Though overpriced it may be.

Spoke to an apple fan lately?
A macbook is VASTLY superior to my Asus (despite my hardware being twice as powerful, and half the cost), and he will forever look down on me for owning one.

You have no idea how often I hear people tell me their macbooks are beyond superior to any other brand no matter what it is.
Because, you know. Its the number one computer brand, ever.
If you don't have it, you're a lower class of human filth.

I also cant stand Wireless mouse. First time I got a wireless, it got annoying to turn off and get new fresh battery everytime. Sometimes get a random pause in connection so I returned it and switched to a wired one.
Also them mac mouse are ugly. using that tiny nipple-like scroll was annoying to use. Went bad in few months on mom's mac. I also personally find Mac products over priced (especially the laptops). I understand Macs are more into doing work and projects (not much gaming) and comes with extra features (more fonts windows dont have) You can get a laptop equal to a mac Book for less $$$. But most people only care about the well known company that makes them.
