hear it's pretty good

edit: personally have an htc evo shift. it's a piece of crap if you like a smoother experience.

I love my HTC Sense, though I'm gonna change the the os to cyanogen.. smoother/nicer.

There's LG phone with nice graphic card, but kills battery :\

I wouldn't recommend Samsung.
I have a Samsung phone and the battery life is crap. It isn't even a smartphone, either.

Everyone I know who has a smartphone has sooo many problems with it. The older phones are built way better.

Yea my Samsung is like ..... Battery dead in a day when only using for a little bit. It's terrible.

I can not even look at mine between 6am-3pm and it'll have one bar of battery life left.

It should be available on most US carriers soon. But I'd probably go for one of those new Blackberries if I was in the market for a smartphone.

I don't really know much about smartphones, so I can't really give a personal analysis. Personally, I've had the low-end Nokia 5230 for about a year now, and while it's super weaksoss compared to these new uber powerful android devices, it still works as a phone quite nicely, its GPS maps feature is implemented extremely well, and that's the only thing I need besides making calls. Basic web browsing works fine, but I don't have a data plan so I don't use it much.

I don't like iPhones or the new touch screens in general. Honestly, I liked the Sidekick3.

It's so freakin' hard to type with a touch screen because it only detects heat or some crap and I can't use my nails and the little "keys" are so tiny on it. Having a nice big screen looks nice and all, but in practice... I really hate 'those' phones.

So... maybe look into the Sidekick 4G, it's an Android phone.

edit: After reading that review, I can't say for sure to get a Sidekick 4G since they aren't quite what the old Sidekicks were. But definitely go for one with a nice physical qwerty keypad.

If you wait 1-3 months, you should get Samsung's Nexus Prime. It'll be the first phone with android's ice cream sandwich.

Samsung's galaxy is probably one of the best android run brands. And yes, Nexus Prime will absolutely rape everything.

But tbh, smart phones and tablets are overpriced, much like apple.

A decent texting phone, laptop, and camera will probably run you a similar price with all three of them excelling at what they were designed for in comparison to a smartphone.
