  Connecting Vindictus with Mabinogi:
  
  Because of the name change, I find that many do not know the background for Vindictus (Mabinogi: Heroes) anymore
  
  Please keep in mind that Vindictus is based on the prequel to Mabinogi. If you guys did G2 and G3 and read the books (ex. Tarlach's Record), you'd know that Mabinogi's Erinn is the actual Tir Na Nog (aka Heaven). The Vindictus' people, aka Tuatha Dé Dananns (ancestors of the NPCs in mabinogi) are the people who fought the real fomors and founded TNN, building the to the image of their cities in the glorious times .
  
  The world in Vindictus is akin to Another World (think Baol and Albey dungeons) in our Mabi; it is in another dimension. But Another World is actually very far in the future (where most fomors were jailed in the dungeons).
  
  Then the fomors somehow also found Heaven of Erinn (TNN) and started invading it.... blah blah blah. We tried containing them, but now ebil gods connected a shadow dimension with ours using alchemy.
  
  Anyways that's how i made sense of it.

  That's generally what I got from the story line of Mabinogi's and the new Vindictus' together. I think it's fascinating, that instead of going into the future we're learning more about fomors and Erinn's past.

  If you read the books from g1 and still remember them, "The Land of Eternity, Tir Na Nog" said that there is no tir na nog, at least not from Erinn's (Milletians') perspective. I believe at the end of G3, Cichol tells you that the goddess lied to you about going to Tir na nog so that you'll help defeat Glas, and the goddess replies that Erinn is tir na nog and needs to be defended. (Cichol is trying to start another fomor war)
  
  yea old fomor wars basically summarizes it, it's still a spin-off though because the gameplay is much different

  if they showed the gameplay trailer at e3
  then people would dismiss it as a stereotypical Asian hack and slash MMORPG

  From our view this mabinogi and what we call erinn
  Is the real tnn or heaven in the whole story
  The tnn that we in mabinogi visit is the old world so to speak or another world as the game calls it you could say where mabinogi heros take place
  Mabinogi heros has you be merc fighting to find your way to what they call tnn or our eirinn
  So you could say heros is about the former wars or mabinogi 0 as someone in this thread called it
  
  Or in simple terms
  Mabinogi= we defend tnn thats already been founded
  Mabinogi heros = Journey to defeat formers and find tnn
