They should've outlawed DADT, so it had no chance of coming back.

Which part of the US constitution can be applied to fight against the DADT? I am against the DADT rule, but the constitution doesn't really deal with such issues. Perhaps you can point which section/article (or amendment) that deals with this?
Section I, article 8 allows Congress to "To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces", which doesn't say they are prohibited from making the DADT.
The GOP crowd's actions aren't really much of a surprise. GOP audience usually consists of very conservative Christians.
