Dunno if this thread is allowed, I'm not sure, but I'm just wondering. Does anyone know a good site for jailbreaking iPods that actually makes it look decent? Also sites that don't contain viruses/spyware/malware and all that nasty stuff.
My friend used a Korean one but I can't find it, and her iPhone looks really good. >: So any recommendations? :D

I'm a little confused. Are you asking for themes or how to jailbreak?

Both, in order to get themes I must jailbreak my iPod, correct?

It's so pretty. But she won't help me do it. =______=

Indeed, you are right Meeko.
I dunno which theme it is, Cydia has thousands of them.
The best thing you can do is Google a jailbreak that corresponds to your firmware and go from there.

What's your current firmware?

My other friend recommended downloading the Cydia app on my iPod, I dunno.
Also my firmware is: iPod Touch 4th Generation 32 gigabytes, Software Version 4.3.5.

Cydia comes with the jailbreak.
At least everything I did it.
EDIT: The current jailbreak for 4.3.5 is tethered. I don't know if you want that. It means that you have to re-do the jailbreak every time you close your ipod. So it's best to keep your ipod open...

Is jailbreaking an iPod even worth it? I don't know much about the platform feature-wise, but I do believe that jailbreaking also breaks the iOS security...which is not a good thing if you connect it to the internets.

I dunno, I want it to look pretty and nice. I don't know much about jailbreaking and stuff but I've seen my friends and it's pretty darn nice and pretty, so me wants. I dunno about the security though, my iTunes has been hacked once, I dunno how but at least Apple gave me a full refund. :D

Hmm.. I never had a problem with my jailbroken ipods. I've been using a first gen for 3 years and and a fourth gen for almost a year now. I just like getting all the apps for free instead of paying. Though, it's morally wrong.
EDIT: Anyways, don't update your ipod Micho. You CAN jailbreak it, but it will be tethered. There seems to be a few guides on google if you type in "Jailbreak ipod touch 4.3.5" It's really easy, you just have to follow the instructions.

Once you jailbreak it you'll want to use the cydia app and get winterboard. I've been using my jailbroken ipod for a few years with no problem involving hacking.

What does being tethered mean is it bad? D: I found this video, I guess I'll follow the instructions of him. . .

o mo What's winterboard?
-
Chockeh wrote on 2011-09-24 22:15
It's kinda bad since you can't turn off your ipod. But it's not something that will break your ipod or anything. Winterboard is a theme manager.

infact you can get better security if you jailbreak it, you can even get a firewall on, which is not available to unjailbreak itouch/iphones.
you would be amazed at what an ipod can do when its not running the apple os.....
