post yours
I remember being around 6 or 7
and my mom and dad would always take me to this bar on the edge of a lake
and I would always skip rocks and play there
I would be allowed to come inside and the people in the bar taught me how to play darts, pool, and the slots
there was an old jukebox the the older men and women in the bar would play old country songs like

they would dance with me and I remember crying and crying and crying when hurricane Ivan destroyed it.

Always hanging out with my childhood friend in the back of our apartments. Oh jeez, I wonder how she's doing nowadays. I think I had a crush on her back then.

One of my earliest childhood memories is my father pushing me around the house in a laundry basket, lol. I miss him...

Master used to play with the cat for hours everyday
even though she's busy now, she can spare at least an hour per day on weekdays

my old best friend's halloween party in 2004
playing outside with my neighbors jasmin and michelle, going to the pool, i'm even fond of all the arguments we had coz i miss them so much
staying up late on ms soon after i first began playing, listening to whatever music played on tv
the time in 1st grade my dad bought me an esmeralda pencil from blockbuster (hunchback of notre dame was out in theaters or vhs at the time). took it to school, showed my friend sabrina who sat next to me. the next day i couldn't find it in my desk where i left it. we were doing desk cleaning and sabrina went to the bathroom so a classmate helped her clean his desk for her without her consent, found my pencil in there, knew it was mine and handed it back :D
that's all i can think of at the top of my head

Any opportunity I was away from my parents really. Yeah, that sounds emo as hell but it really was true. To be a child and freely enjoy your innocent interaction with the world was blissful. <3
Although, another memory that sticks out in my mind was riding on the front of a boat in a lake with this girl I had a crush on. Arms over each other and smiling into the sunset; such an awesome memory.
Now I'm depressed... The only happiness I get nowadays is from my girlfriend and the people I work with in lab. What the hell happened to my life? :<

My earliest childhood dream was at our first "house", we had some people over and I remember my grandmom or mom putting me down and I was walking toward the creek next to our "house" and my mom was like freaking out and called me back.
Another time...
My sister ripped my diaper off and shoved me under the couch at one point. Then pulled me back out and shoved me back under >_> dat *****

The town I was born in - the best place I have ever lived in!
Only having 4 television channels, and not knowing the Internet until a few years ago
Waking up early on Saturday mornings to watch FoxBox with my sibling.
Going to Denmark and Germany on a vacations - and hot chocolate :bath:

When my grandma brought me to church once there was an ice cream parlor on the way. I asked her for ice cream, and she said no. And I was like, sad the whole night. On our way home though, she went to the super market and bought me a whole tub of my favorite ice cream.
I remember sitting there, having ice cream with her. HNNG miss her so much.

Isn't this supposed to be a happy thread...?
Anyway, pretty much my whole elementary school days were good. There isn't any one memory I'd say is my favorite. My mom did a really good job of making sure we were happy when we were little (my 2 siblings and myself).

Hrmm, I'm not sure if this counts but back in my 5th grade year I was a teacher helper, which meant I had to go in early on certain days and help get the classroom ready. The best part though was that the teacher had a SNES in there with Super Mario and would let me play it when I got done :thumb:
And this is a little more recent, but in my first years of Middle School I was a library helper. It was me and two other guys, and after we got done with the books, we had like a hour to do whatever we wanted. Most of the time we played War, Blackjack, and sometimes we snuck in Poker Chips:thief:
Ahh good times :P

Childhood in Japan, from age 6-12 whenever I play at the playground with other Japanese kids, they nicknamed me Gaijin-san (foreigner-san) \o/
Used to play with them highschool girls in their unifrom + knee socks. They were soo nice to me <3
Until I moved to the US, god why are they jerks >:V
Edit: Also was hooked up on them Japanese NES (Gold Red) playing the first Dragon Quest \o/

Not too long ago, after messing something up, I had this feeling of failure putting me down, but the people around me helped me feel a lot better. It's nice to know that even when I feel like I've hit low, there are people willing to pull me up.
