  I used to play around with a Nikon D80 but I can't anymore.
  As of right now I own a KSX-P which is a film camera.

  My advice is to not take pictures of everything you see.
  My friend who also owns a SLR camera takes pictures of anything he likes and to me that's a big mistake.
  Yeah, it's okay to like something but once you start taking pictures of chalkboard drawings with a SLR that where I draw the line.

  And I disagree with that advice. :( It is said that even the pro photographers working for National Geographic throw away 90% of the shots they take. So for us noobs, if we were to keep, say, 1%.. that would be pretty decent, no? With cheap flash storage, taking a ton of shots to see what works and what doesn't isn't really an issue. Or do you have some other reason? :o
