Finally, Canada had been getting the short end of the stick having to pay more to get NX.
Even despite the fact the Canadian dollar had been higher than the American dollar.
I am glad Nexon have decided to revised their NX currency.

Me neither, and I've gotten them in most of the different chains where NX cards are sold.
Maybe it's a state tax thing?

Why, Why
So high for NZ :(
Anyways,
NX Card - $35 for 28000 NX. 1 Dollar = 800 NX
Karma Koin - $25 for 20000 NX. 1 Dollar = 800 NX.
So it's not that bad

Regarding the taxes...I think it depends on which store you buy them from. For example, when I get them at 7-11 or Future shop where I live, they charge tax, but when I get them at Shopper's Drug Mart, they don't charge tax. All in the same city. I'm really glad they changed it though. The CND and USD have been pretty much equal for a long time now, so we were paying a lot more to get the same amount of nx if we used prepaid. >_>

My 7-11s don't charge tax for NX cards though (I live near Chicago in the US). How strange!

Depends where you go, alot of 7-elevens in canada charge tax.
In british columbia, you get charged an extra $1.44 for $12 cards, which is 12%, $30 cards are $33.60
Places like shoppers drugmart don't charge tax.

About time. The Canadian and US dollars dance between who is higher/lower it's nice to finally not have to pay 2-5 bucks more for plastic shipping fees for a stupid game card. Thats one of the things I've always found ridiculous about buying NX cards.
Also..

Yes. At least for Canada. Depending on the Province depends on taxing on cards. Saskatchewan has taxation where as Alberta does not. However it is only the provincial tax if I remember right - don't quote me on that part I haven't went to get prepaid cards in SK in quite awhile.
Also a lot of places recently removed the taxation from cards. Zellers and most 7-11 stores for instance no longer charge tax on prepaid cards - at least here. Some chains such as Shoppers have never charged tax, however.

What about the past few weeks/months when the Canadian dollar was on par/greater than the US dollar?
If that happens again are we gonna get more NX?
Didn't think so _|_
