A girl I might date is a fan of them as well, and I was thinking of getting tickets for one of their concerts later this year, but I really can't stand the way the singer looks, and don't really want to pay money where I'll have to see him for however long the concert lasts.

The singer is really the only one that stands out when they play... Theres a video of them on youtube, and they're a pretty boring to watch band (Compared to System of a Down or other groups). Also, paying attention to a girl focused on the band would be pretty difficult as well, as I have a short attention span ;p.

Girl also agrees about the singer, because he does this very geeky comb-over that irritates a lot of their listeners.

Seriously, The thread should of been called "Babe or Sitting at home in misery"

Its obvious to me, Whether or not you have an short attention span, In Australia, We had Empire of the Sun playing, No one really gave a **** about how they looked,They sounded epic and that was really all that mattered.

You should try not to be rude, because next time I'll reply just as rudely.

The reason I'm having a hard time deciding is because of a lackluster stageshow. The main reason to go to a concert, is to see them live, as well as see their stageshow. Otherwise its not all that different from listening to the radio or a CD.

This will be the second show of theres I have gone to, there other being before they got popular (They've only really gotten popular in the last few years, even though they've been around for along time), and while they put a lot of effort into their music set (The order of their songs), they basically stand on stage, and don't really do anything except play, which is fine for most groups, but theres just something about the singer that grates me the wrong way (Its actually fairly common among their fans that go to their shows).

The girl agrees about the singer, and she hasn't decided if she wants to go to the concert, or if I should get tickets for something else (Ozzfest or Warped Tour, which are a week within each other). She's also seen them live, which is partly why she's undecided.

Also, i havnt been to either of those concerts, But Ozzfest sounds awesome.
