Is justice a set moral or is it only determined by who's stronger?

Justice and anything seen as "What is right" in a community is generally determined by who's stronger in my opinion.
If you think long and hard about it, there actually is no right nor wrong, since things you believe that are the right thing to do may be seen as bad decisions from another point of view. For example, I saved the life of a drowning girl in a riverbank and return her to her "guardian", only to find out that she's not only an orphan, but she is also left with a debt that she was being forced to repay with her body, and that she was trying to commit suicide and that the guardian I returned her to was the "debt collector" so to speak. In either case scenario, there isn't much I could have done without getting involved in a f*cked up situation.

What type of justice? Justice as in the law or as in moral justice? Justice in the law is supposed to be absolute, and not up for interpretation. We still have trails because we must determine whether a person has broken the law or not, but the law is still an absolute. moral "justice" isn't so simple. Most ethics classes will focus around finding a "community standard", a social norm. The problem is finding a proper community standard. A relativist would argue that any action benefiting one's self interest is just so there is no justice because nobody is ever wrong (the most you could do is say "I would not have done such a thing" to the person). If you use the majority viewpoint then it's mostly whoever is stronger, but there will be a bit of compromise to suite the minority.

What kind of justice and strength are you talking about? The question is so open.

Moral justice varies from person to person and can be determined by almost anything.
Legal justice is typically defined by money, power and corrupt/illogical morals.

yea i guess i was a bit open about it. i bascially meant what is what we feel is right and wrong. i mean most of us would say that going around killing a whole race of people is generally wrong, but why do we feel this way. is it because we've been brain washed to feel that way or is it natural for us to feel sympathy for another?
