Did they get your name from a family member? Or did they get it off of TV, a movie, or a book?
Here's mine.
Taylor (first name) - Back in '92, there was a soap opera and one of the girl's names was Taylor. My mom loved that soap opera so she decided my first name would be that. I, for one, like the name, so I am glad she went with it.
Elise (middle name) - In the 1600's, my father had an aunt that was named Alise(or Elise, I do not recall). My mother loved the name and thought it was beautiful so she decided I would have it as my middle name.
You don't have to do BOTH your first and middle name, you could just explain your first. If you don't know, make a guess.
Fun fact: My mother was so darn clever in naming me and my sister. I'm T.E.D. and my younger sister is E.D.D. Thing is, we're so close in age we're pretty close ourselves. So maybe it was some elaborate plan on hers? Either way, it's quite strange, to say the least.
Have fun.

My mom just liked the name Hannah. As for my middle name, she had a friend in highschool that she was really close to, and so she gave me his name (it's a gender neutral name.)

Kevin- Kevin McCallister.
Anthony- Several generations in family that has a variation of the name Anthony.
EDIT: Fun facts huh... The first letter of my sister's, brother's and I is K. So we are KKK. My cousin's in my mom's side all start with the letter J. My cousin who got two children in the same year by different mother's didn't get to choose the name, but both children ended up starting with C for their first names and J for their middle names. We are sooo doing this for the next generation.

dad wanted to name me after his mom, Betty-Ann.
NOP. mom wouldn't let him, she named me after her mom, Karen. it's sort of her family tradition for the names 'Karen' and 'Genevieve' to be passed on down through the generations i think.

Hoo boy.
I think I told this story before (to great amusement hurrhurr), but basically, my parents were expecting a boy. (Moral of the story: DON'T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU SEE ON AN ULTRASOUND)
They had thought about a girl's name briefly, but they were so convinced that I was going to be a boy, that they just gave up.
They were going to call me Joseph Michael (yeah, that would be my full name, lolwut), so i'm kind of glad that didn't happen.
So anyways...my mom went into labor, and that lasted for 36 hours. My dad needed his own room, because he was busy throwing up and freaking out like "AW **** I'M GOING TO BE A PARENT OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD DFGDFGDFG".
So I finally came out, and the doctor was like, "It's a boy - no, wait, it's a girl!", and my parents were like "da fuq bruh?"
So the doctor was like, "Quick, think of a name!", and my dad blurted out Claudia because "it sounded nice".
Though apparently there was a great-aunt Claudia way back when, but nope, my dad made it up.

My mom wanted to name me something Irish, and when she saw "Conor" spelled with one n from the whole Conor Clapton incident, she started to like the name even though she learned about it from that accident and named me "Conor." :)

First name: mother wanted names that started with the same letter as my twin, and two that sounded well together :what:
Middle name: I have no clue. Although my twin's middle was named after my bigger sister because she wanted her name to be in one of our names, so my name started with the same letter as my twin's.
Last name: Father's last name. My motehr depised her last name (and her original first name, especially after she found out the reason for her own name)
