  One of my dreams for the internet is global IPv6 adoption to the point where (mostly) static IPs can be set, so IP bans will be viable in many situations again. Currently since we're out of IPv4 addresses (and have been heading this way for a while) IP addresses change too often (because there's not enough to go around at once) for IP banning to be viable... 'cause you can block somebody, then the next day they're unbanned and the IP ban is blocking some other legit player, 'ya know?

  That's a markedly different attitude than the slew of other "it's extended" messages we've seen... going along with the topic of this thread, perhaps the company's had a new policy to try to appeal to users more.

  Honestly, with this video, and their new attitude with them being more open to saying the word "indefinitely" , I feel that they're stepping in the better direction. Hopefully they keep this up.
