Differences between Windows 7

I have home premium and I was trying to download XP mode but I can't. (Can someone tell me how to dual boot? I've been reading the guides and they seem confusing)

XP mode is better for security, but yeah it can't compare to a system installed os for many legacy applications and resource management.

To dual boot XP and 7 (which i do) you should have XP installed first, AFTER partitioning your hard drive (or add another hard drive) for space, in order use windows 7.

Also, you can't have XP mode because Premium does not support it.

Oh I got XP installed using Virtual Machine.
But all I wanted to do is install Fallout 1 & 2 because in windows 7 you get Rainbow Graphics/Color Distortion.
As for reformatting for dual booting nevermind then. I have way to much important stuff to reformat to XP.
