I just don't get it though.
I've walked through corn fields, it's easy to make your way through it.
The people had no logic and no sense of direction and probably some kind of corn stalk phobia, all at the same time.

Don't most corn mazes have a rule where you can't walk through the cornstalks? Though if they were truly lost and it was enough of an emergency to call the police i'm sure the owner wouldn't have minded too much unless they just completely tore down the stalks.

That must be some really tall corn stalks if they didn't bother to stand on one another to peek out the "walls".

I'd do the same, I'm terrified of getting lost.

Corn CAN actually get really tall. I'm in Indiana, and the corn that grows here gets so tall that adults of average height can't see over them, so it's pretty easy to get lost in corn mazes here. It's also easy for people hide in them and jump out at you xD But yeah. If the corn was that tall and they really needed out, then I guess I can understand ._.;

Yeah, corn's pretty tall around here, much taller than myself at least.
Not that most of the people who find this thread amusing would know.

True dat. I lived in Illinois for a while, and now I live in Tennessee. Not as much corn, but it's still around.
I also don't think the owner of a corn maze would be too happy if you ruined the maze. They put money into growing that corn, and they're probably getting money out of the maze. So I think calling the police was fine. That's why they're there. To help.

Indeed.
But ignorant people who live in places that don't grow corn, much less a corn maze, wouldn't know. Tee hee.
So they can laugh at people without feeling the consequences.
