Using VMPlayer with Windows 8 Developer Preview.
Whenever I run Mabi, nothing appears for about 10-15 seconds and then "client.exe has stopped working" appears, already "restarted" once. Tried Running as Admin but with no luck D:
Anyone here got experience with VM's and Mabi? (or, even Windows 8 and Mabi ;(?)

You're running Windows 8 on the VM? Try running Windows XP instead since it takes up less memory and uts less stress on the VM. If not try giving it more RAM or changing the desktop UI (idk if Windows 8 can) to the lowest possible settings to reduce lag. It could possibly be a installation problem of mabi too?
edit: Do you get a hackshield error (A speedhack has been detected) before the Client.exe error? If so then it means your VM is lagging

Actually, the client doesn't even get to the loading stage. Everything is running smoothly so it couldn't be a lag problem. It just finishes the HackShield update thing that it always does, then 10 second wait and I get that error ;( Gonna try a different OS, cause the Windows 8 is after all, only a preview/beta release..
Edit: WORKING after I switched it to Windows 7 :D

I recommend Windows XP though since it takes less memory, but it's up to you

Already fixed it.
Besides, you can't use Compatibility Mode with Mabi. It always comes up with something about it not being supported, turn compatibility mode off and try again ;P
