  That has nothing to do with anything-- it takes maybe one minute to go see if the kid is alright. They're not asking you to pay for the Kids medical bills, they're asking you to be a decent human being and see if the kid is alright.

  naturally you should care about another human being
  whether you're chinese, american or mexican
  communism or democracy
  it's not a matter of finances I don't think that has anything to do with the matter

  Its not that they're having a rough time, but rather their value of life has diminished.
  
  Human life just doesn't mean anything to them anymore. Its all about themselves now. Its almost always more evident in places where death is more commonplace. Example in Kongo, children are being kidnapped and turned into "soldiers", mostly just bullet fodder. No one cares. No one thinks twice.
  
  Also, incoming psychologist with law of crowd psychology.
  
  Not saying that any of them are justified. China is significantly better off than most of the world. They should definitely know better. Assuming the first person that ran her over was a douchebag, and everyone else was just exercising crowd psychology (which is about as 'nice' as I can assess the situation for these assholes), the real dick move comes in when the SECOND car just runs her over while she's still alive, and then the REALLY dick move comes in with the lady comes over, and the girl reaches her arms out to her, and the lady just moves the body over to the side of the road and walks away.
  
  Those two are seriously scumbags and can probably jump in a fire and the world won't miss them.

  On another end, while I see that moralized action patherns could be learned from other people, I don't understand how people exist without knowing universal moral. For as much as I can remember, I always knew what is wrong to do. My family did not taught me this since they don't always follow it, the kids I grew up with either. Never heard anything of the sort at school either nor at TV. Even by current standar, Univeral moral has no place in society since I can turn into a mass "murderer" anytime. So how did I learn this if learning it is a necessity? Of course I might just be a rare case and in reality human beings are unable to know of the universal moral. That's what I often though of. But nevertheless, as someone who does know Universal morals, I can and will point fingers at the horrors of humanity, fingers or daggers..
