I keep pressing "+ Reply to Thread" instead of "Post Quick Reply"

This is an archive of the mabination.com forums which were active from 2010 to 2018. You can not register, post or otherwise interact with the site other than browsing the content for historical purposes. The content is provided as-is, from the moment of the last backup taken of the database in 2019. Image and video embeds are disabled on purpose and represented textually since most of those links are dead.

When replying to threads, especially when quoting the most recent message, I tend to press + Reply to Thread instead of Post Quick Reply, which erases whatever i just typed into the reply textbox.

As the text editor and "go advanced" button show by default, could it be possible for the + Reply to Thread button be removed from the bottom of threads, either directly or via an option? I've lost maybe 10 replies because of this, and sometimes i press it think the reply posted and realize the next time i check the thread that it wasn't posted.

Anyone else making this mistake, or am i the only one that's hastily clicking the shiny button with "Reply" on it?

I moved it there for a reason. If you want to see the reason, go to that thread in the section you choose to ignore. But in any case, I'm locking this thread.
