FYI:
I recommend the mandolin because it makes the crescendo really pop. However, it does sound fine on other string instruments. I like the sound of the lute, it's just not as loud and triumphant. Ukelele sounds fine too, but the sustained notes really make the song, which you lose with the Ukelele.

The flute version was requested and is for the flute only. Use the Mandolin part for string instruments.

FYI:
The mandolin part is playable by any string instrument, and the flute part is playable only by the flute and more string instruments. I feel that the mandolin and the flute give the most triumphant sound, but the flute part sounds nice when done by a ukelele also.

To compose the score:
1. Copy the whole thing in the box, starting from "MML@..."
2. Use the composing skill with an empty scroll
3. Click the "read from the clipboard" button, it will automatically populate the tracks for you.
4. Give it a title and click OK.

Keeping in mind that Hitokagay wrote a duet. This means that the flute only has certain part of the song. It won't sound complete unless you jam with the mandolin part, like in the video he posted.

"Rank F" means that you need Rank F Composing to write out the full song - otherwise it might be clipped or miss a few notes.

Your scroll difficulty rank is related to your Music Knowledge, it has nothing to do with Composing.

(By the way do you only have Rank F composing ._.? I think I'm working on your song next...)
