Well, I think that's my problem anyways. Youtube and such sites haven't been working for me.
I've tried updating Flash at the official site, and I get an error that goes "Internet Explorer was not able to open this Internet site. This required site is either unavailable or cannot be found. Please try again later.".
I'm using Windows XP and IE7 if that helps.

Use Google Chrome or Firefox.

On another note, try installing chrome. It comes pre-installed with flash. If it doesn't work, still, there's a problem with your computer.

It's best to nuke all Flash Player installations before you try to update.
Uninstall Flash Player or
direct link. Be sure that all your browsers, or apps that use Flash, such as MSN, are closed before you uninstall.
If you wanna use IE, I strongly suggest you at least update it to version 8. Otherwise, consider Firefox or Chrome, as suggested above.

You're still using 7? IE8 is the latest (and last) update for Windows XP, so you should get that for up-to-date stability on plugins.
Uninstall your Adobe Flash Player, install IE8, then try downloading the newest version of Flash.

Well, turns out I was already at IE8 (oops).
Already uninstalled Flash, but the error with being unable to open websites is still there. I'm trying some of the suggestions from Craddle's link, but nothing has worked yet. Going to mess around more though, I just don't have time right now.
Thanks for the advice everyone. I know I should probably start using Chrome or Firefox, I'm just way too used to IE to want to bother with setting one of them up right now.

IE9 and probably 8 too have a full settings reset in the Options panel somewhere. I think it's in the Advanced tab? Maybe you could try that.
