Victoria. And yes, a lot of this was happening near the harbor of down town when I rode the bus to the mall down-town today. There are so many people by the harbor though, and some people had to come move them out of the way to get to the docks and onto their boats to go fishing.
Yeah, this is happening. Some teachers from my school even went to participate in it.

Not that I know of, but it's a pity if nobody around here is. I'd rather have them bring the problems into the light (even if the people themselves are uninformed about the issue and just point fingers) than ignore it even more, though.

Yup, I drive through the downtown Sacramento area everyday and see people occupying Cesar Chavez Park.

Haven't seen any near city hall, and I drive past city hall at least twice a day.
However, in
the nearby city of Dallas (which is at most 30 minutes away)...

None at all; but I was out of America way before I heard any kind of thing about this :what:
However if there was going to be a revolt (or one right now that I'm not aware of) nearby, it would be over an issue different but alike to the one this "Occupy/99%" thing is going towards - based on Osay's post.
But what can I do here?
It's a pity - no forget that, it's absolutely wretched the conditions I have to see most of the population face once I step outside of the villas I live in.
Here, the government is the rich; I don't know enough on them now, but I and I'm sure 70%+ of the population would like to see a change.

My town is not infested with them, it's not a financial center at all. If anything the closest city is a regional logistical center, but that is part of the real economy, so why would you protest here?
