Hello Ruairi! It is my pleasure to announce the 3rd annual Halloween Costume Contest, co-sponsored this year by the Simply guild and Fruity guild! We invite any and all Ruairians to join us, in costume, as a panel of judges awards prizes to contestants in various categories. Our event will take place at the Emain Macha Auditorium on October 29th at 3pm PDT.

Prizes will be awarded as follows in these categories:

Scariest Costume: 10k Karma coin card

Funniest Costume: 10k Karma coin card

Sexiest Costume: 10k Karma coin card

Best Group Costume: A wide array of very nice and rare items that can be split among the group.

Best Overall Costume: 25k Karma coin card

*A very special thanks to Smitty and Kyancross for donating the NX.

**Since we have had an overwhelming amount of items donated for this event from both guilds, we may give out several Honorable Mention prizes!!!

Please be prompt to the event, and courteous of everyone around. Contestants will be called to the stage one at a time, and will each have a moment to present themselves and their costume to the judges. ***Note: We are looking for 1 or 2 more people to be part of our judging panel.

Also, due to the nature of Nexon's servers and uncanny ability to throw a wrench in the works whenever we try to host a big event, please keep an eye on this thread for any changes... but hopefully everything will run smoothly. Even if they put in an event, I think our prizes this year are way better than anything they've come up with ;)

So, get ready, and get creative!

I apologize for having to postpone it though; hopefully this time it will go more smoothly with the updates.

Halloween has passed, many characters are still locked out, dyes are still expensive with no word on premium service...

Because of these unfortunate circumstances we've decided it will be best to cancel this event for today. However, we will postpone it until next month, keeping the spirit of halloween and costumes and making the event a "Nightmare Before Christmas" theme :) We will probably add another category or two for prizes.

Sorry it had to come to this, but I think it will be a better event in the end when and if the server problems get solved. Stay tuned for a new announcement.
