People in maplestory are getting hacked left and right

  Even though this is vindictus, I don't think our accounts are safe either.
  
  It's just that, we probably stand to have less to lose if we get hacked, except for Agelia haha.
  
  I don't know what to say...(compensation are really bad too, some clean items and 30k NX in total)

  I think I have 30K NX on my account right now :P Oh well, I hope mine doesn't get hacked. I hardly use it anymore, maybe I can fly under the radar :D

  I read that when you try to log in with the wrong password, nexon gives the hacker your encrypted real password. and all the hacker needs is a simple program to retrieve your password.

  If you mean making your password uncrackable and you have to reset it via email every time you have to play, then I do.

  The hackings have been going on for a while. I'm surprised it hasn't spread over to Vindictus yet. You'd think every server of every game would be crawling with hackers by now...

  When you go to reset your password, simply just type it in, and copy and paste an alt symbol from here at the end of your password. You or anybody else will not be able to log on, even if you copy and paste the exact same password (including the alt symbol) you typed in, into the field.
  Every time you want to log on/play,you'll have to reset your password to something you can type in, since the alt symbol won't let you. It's easier just to type the same password without the symbol and log in that way, then reset your password and put it back when you're done.

  Nexon doesn't do it directly (I guess?). It's basically like a confirmation thing to check if what was entered is correct, and if it doesn't match, it's what tells you that the password is wrong. At least it makes sense the most that way.
