  You can choose to play against CPUs only in practice. During matches, you're pitted against a player unless there are an odd number of players. Then the person who didn't get paired up with a player would fight one of the CPUs.

  Thank you very much for this guide. I've done my first two jousting matches, and won both of them because I knew what to expect from my opponents. Because of Proper Penetration, the tip of my weapon left my opponents moaning in agony. Thanks again!
