Human beings eat. You can't seriously expect me to believe you don't often enough to not have silverware.
Not having silverware would mean you're eating at a cafeteria. Which is rather... spendy.
Can't really say "I don't have money for a pumpkin or knives" because technically you're getting more food for cheaper if you buy the pumpkin and the knife and eat the contents than the costs of going to a cafeteria for food.
I'm on a meal plan, so I was given $250 for this semester. I'm not charging my bank, it's financial aid. So yeah, it's still pricey and you seem to think that my dorm has a fridge big enough to actually put food into it. It barely fits milk in it. My dorm halls oven and stove has been broken so I can't use that. TV dinners? Still don't require actual silverware and definitely not enough space for my than two of those. I use plastic silverware, Kitae, like I said before.
So yeah, I can say I don't have money for a knife or a pumpkin, because I really honestly don't. The money I am going to be spending to get both, is all that I'll be able to spend until December and that's to see if maybe carving the damn thing will make me feel less like I want to slit my wrists. I'm beyond stressed, and I really shouldn't have to debate with you on what I can and can't afford.
