  1 hit FB reduced his hp in half, then i magnum spamed and ARed when i missed w/ magnum. he summoned a golem but it was for my pet normal attacking.

  Your water cannon will suffice. You'll have to use hit and run tactics when he starts summoning, but that shouldn't be too hard. Spamming Forest golems on him can put a dent in as well.
  
  If you have life drain at all, make sure to use it if he catches you with a lightning bolt. Wind blast is nice to have on reserve even if it's rF in case he's getting too close. He lacks the tools to take on an alchemist until he starts summoning, but giving him a tour of the town should resolve that.

  I did smash mill with my pet doing normal attacks. He wasn't able to summon golem/life drain or anything. The most he did was kill my pet 1nce or twice. This was on hard (not that it matters/mattered) to me.
  
  Edit: IIRC he did use life drain 1nce, but no biggie, he wasn't able to summon anything at least.
