How about using that 170 mil dollars to serve as scholarships for the students that really need it!
Not everyone who really needs scholarships actually gets them though. I REALLY need scholarships, and I've been denied all the scholarships I've applied for. I had almost a 4.0 and I was being denied them, so it's good in theory to put that money towards scholarships but it would still end up in the wrong hands. Some people I know get scholarships for the most ridiculous reasons, and they don't even CARE about it.

For 4 years of education, $20K of it is in loans. I'm lucky that I'll hopefully be getting into an industry that's even bigger than movies (or even both games and movies). Hopefully I'll have a steady enough job to pay fot things without being overwhelmed, but this economy scares me. Plenty of people that went through school still don't have jobs.

This. I don't want to be the one of the people who moves back in with their parents and have to pay back my loans with a crap job. I will sell my soul to seal a job before I graduate :x

You'd be singing a different tune if you had $40,000-80,000 in loans and they wanted 30-60% of your income.

I think that money would be better put towards educating people about costs of school, etc. Don't go to Harvard for graphic design for example (you probably can't but it's just an example), community colleges vs private schools and how little of a difference it is (education and career-wise). Educating people about internships, too. A lot of people complain about how hard it is to get jobs after college when they don't realize how much easier it is to get an internship in college which transitions into a real job after.

I don't like Obama-Biden because how hardcore anti-piracy they are. I already have a seedbox (thereby also VPN/SFTP/SSH), so it doesn't matter to me since everything worthy of note I do is encrypted, but... they're taking away our freedoms and I don't like that. They're just RIAA/MPAA lapdogs.
:barf:
It's too bad all the Republican candidates are complete retards...

Sounds about the right timing for something like this.
