Ok, it's basically a boy/girl who fell into a forest and found a dragon egg, and it hatched into a dragon and for some apparent reason they're "bonded" together by some spirit, in which both bodies are separated bu their mines and one and crap. The boy/girl takes care of the baby dragon, and the dragon's some crazy powerful breed known as an Onyx Dragon, and as he grows he gets darker and darker until he's finally Onyx color at his last form(he's blue in the beginning). The dragon encourages the boy/girl to become an explorer and go on adventures like the other classes in Maplestory, and he eventually saves the world from this Black Mage dude. So no, no yellow dragon.

For the attacks and stuff, the boy/girl(your character) just directs the attacks, and the dragon does the actual work.

You can choose to be a male or female. It doesn't affect your performance in any way possible. But most of the time, the Evan is usually regarded as a male.
